Meet Laurie, a highly skilled and board-certified Nurse Practitioner whose roots trace back to the vibrant St. Louis area, shaping her passion for healthcare. Laurie embarked on her academic journey at the University of Missouri, Columbia, graduating with distinction and earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 1993.
Dedicating herself to continuous learning, Laurie pursued her education while actively contributing as an RN at Mercy Medical Center. Her commitment culminated in a Summa Cum Laude graduation in 2000 from Jewish Hospital College of Nursing at Washington University School of Medicine, where she earned a Master of Science in Nursing and Adult Nurse Practitioner degree.
With over two decades of experience in primary care, women's health, hormone therapy, and endocrinology, Laurie stands as a seasoned and accomplished Nurse Practitioner. In December of 2020, she made the pivotal decision to transition her expertise to the dynamic field of dermatology, joining Yoon Dermatology.
As a member of the Dermatology Nurses Association, Laurie exemplifies her dedication to staying at the forefront of her field. She actively participates in continuing education meetings and conferences, ensuring her knowledge remains current and cutting-edge.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Laurie finds joy in the company of family and friends, exploring new destinations through travel, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle through regular exercise. Adding to her impressive repertoire, Laurie holds a second-degree black belt in Taekwondo, showcasing her commitment to excellence both in and out of the healthcare realm.
