Dr. Tara Ramachandra is a distinguished double board-certified facial plastic and head and neck surgeon, recognized for her exemplary performance in her specialty, as evidenced by her inclusion on the Castle Connolly Top Doctors since 2022. From the San Francisco Bay Area, Dr. Ramachandra pursued her education at Stanford University, where she completed an undergraduate degree in biomechanical engineering and a medical degree. Her medical training continued at Vanderbilt University with a residency in otolaryngology, enhancing her surgical expertise in treating conditions of the ears, nose, sinuses, and neck.
Dr. Ramachandra further specialized in facial plastic surgery through a fellowship at Vanderbilt University, mastering advanced techniques in facial reconstruction and cosmetic surgery. She also served as a clinical fellow at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland, before establishing her practice in St. Louis, where she now resides with her family.
In her practice, Dr. Ramachandra is particularly focused on facial restoration following skin cancer treatment. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Ramachandra is an avid traveler and enjoys live music and exploring St. Louis with her husband, their two active sons, and their Golden Retriever.
